I have a cart and an older DD bag, but I was going to play a tournament that was an 8 mile mountain hike and really not great for a cart. So I shopped and shopped and this bag for what it can hold just seemed to make sense.Good padding, good construction. I can see how some complain that the lower bag support/feet can dig into your back if you don't have the bag adjusted properly.Heavy, it's not light, but only a lb heavier than my smaller bag and this thing carries lots of stuff! :)One small gripe is the velcro patch was sewn on crooked and it bothers me to no end :)But ya the green I'm really happy with and it's a great bag and again for the price, I just couldn't find anything else close..I must admit when I had to assemble the bag I was throwing fits, it felt like half of the structural pieces were slightly too big to fit. I hope it's easier for you, but don't be surprised if it takes you around 15 minutes or more to get the 5 pieces into proper place. If it goes down like mine, some feel like they cannot fit at all, it's just an extremely tight fit you need to break in the molds a bit to help them and make sure you're using the edges where they fit. I've been using the bag for a couple weeks now, it's extremely sturdy. My only wish is that there were separators in the bag like the V1 had. I don't carry a ton of discs and they flop around in the bag. Outside of that it has more storage space than you need. I'll be enjoying this bag for years to come. Cheers!Honestly I'd give this thing 3 stars overall just because of the assembly, but that's not fair. Plan on looking up a youtube video (the only one I could find covered the V2 not V3) then spending a half hour frigging with the thing before you're even close to ready to use it. That video will assume the back panel is installed and not cover that. It won't be. When you install it the narrow bit goes up not down and if you do it last because you followed the video it's going to take some gymnastics. Actually the whole thing will take gymnastics and I'm not convinced they factored humans only having two hands when they designed it. I get that shipping the thing put together would cost WAY more, especially if it was done at assembly in China because it could no longer be flat packed... but buyer beware its a HUGE PITA.Once you get the panels in all the zippered pockets (that's what they are there for one-time use) the bag will be creaky and squeaky when you put it down because the panels will rub against each other and the base. Maybe this goes away eventually, but it is what it is. This is the last of the irritating things about the bag and why it didn't rate lower, because you only have to do this once.I want to cover the bad things about the bag first, as there aren't many:The top putter storage is more of a long-term storage and not a quick access pocket. It just isn't very convenient to access and leave unzipped while playing. The front flap takes actual effort to secure behind said putter storage for access to the inside of the bag. It is fine once you velcro it to the back of the interior behind the putter storage pouch, just not as ideal of a setup as it could be.A few more hardpoints to clip things on to that didn't hit you in the back while you carry the bag would be nice. The side zippers are all up against you in the closed position so don't clip a speaker or league tag there.A dedicated mini pouch without a zipper would be nice, you either have to use a side pouch or the zip pouch on the outermost putter pocket. The good:It's absolutely amazingly comfortable to wear. One shoulder or two, it doesn't matter. The zippers are very nice, and water resistant. The big zip side pockets are expandable and well thought out. One side has a shallow pocket for pencils the other one a deeper one for pens or sharpies. The expansion space is GREAT.The umbrella storage. This cannot be overstated. You can keep yourself and your discs dry without holding ANYTHING.The outermost quick access putter storage is great for one disc. Two would be the absolute max I would want to try in there but your go-to putter fits nicely and is ready to hand. The patch velcro is nice, have to see how it comes out when I get mine in but it comes with a generic "Prodigy" patch. It holds quite a few discs, more than I expected in fact. 28 fit in there without using the side pouches comfortably. 30 shouldn't be an issue. The color is nice, I got blue and it's a decent look. The material is more tent-like and feels light and fragile but seems durable. If it doesn't rip when you put the panels in it will likely last forever. The price. It's really got the feel of a much more expensive bag (once it's built). You'll curse it the first hour you own it but after that it's smooth sailing.Great freaking bag. Shut up and buy this now.. I'm a heavy player and its comfort size and convenience are above all...This is a big bag. It can hold about 30 discs no problem, multiple water bottles or hydro flask type bottles, rags, all the stuff a disc golfer needs I use the umbrella holder to keep my disc retriever. It’s just too much bag for me as I only like carrying a few discs. So I only use it when I’m playing with my family and they need discs carried also. The bag itself is great. Took about 10 minutes to get all the inserts into place. It has plenty of room for all my disc and retrievers, rags, towels, whatever. The only negative is that the Prodigy Patch on the front is not correct or as advertised. Not a huge deal because I've got a custom one coming, but it would be nice to have the original patch. I can't give it 5 stars for that reason alone. For all the people and even YouTube reviewers that said this bag sucks to put together, I was a little nervous about it even though the bag seems to have everything. IDK what the fuss is all about.I just got it ten minutes ago and it’s assembled and full of discs. It exceeded my expectations for how many it could fit. I have 7 putters- 2 in the front, 5 up top. 11 midranges and 13 fairway and distance drivers fill out the main compartment. That’s 31 discs for those keeping track and they’re not crammed. I could easily fit more in the expanding side pockets, but I don’t need to. I really like the retriever/umbrella sleeve because on my old bag my retriever stuck up like I was a military radio operator. Much sleeker now.Side pockets have room for minis, snacks, even a light jacket and the smaller magnet closed pockets are great for keys, wallet, Sharpies, and other small items. The water bottle pockets are ample size. i fit a large Stanley 36oz thermos with no problem. I've seen complaints that bigger bottles are difficult to get out. I did not find this to be true. There is one carabiner on the top side for towels or whatever. The straps are comfortable although i haven't had it out fully loaded on the course as of yet.Very impressed.Edit: Took out this weekend for a couple rounds. Was very comfortable to carry and performed nicely. Only (minor) drawback i found was with two full 32oz water bottles, it was a bit back heavy due to the placement of the holders and could tip over if the ground wasn't level (which it wasn't more often than not). Very happy with the purchase.Upgraded to this bag recently and absolutely love it! Lots of room for discs including two quick access pockets for putters and highly used discs, two cup holders, one for a drink and one for my Bluetooth speaker, extra storage on both sides as well. It also stands straight up when I set it down too which helps not get the bag wet when playing in dewy grass. My only negative is that when the bag is shipped it is flat and it comes with some plastic inserts to give the bag it’s shape, and there were no instructions and it was actually tougher to do than I thought. But once I finally got it all together loved it!Lotsa pockets and fits a lot of discs.Just what I was looking forPerfect
