This comfortable to wear. All my things fit perfectly. I love this backpack!A few more interior pockets would’ve been nice. If you are strictly looking for a backpack to carry a laptop and lightweight jacket, this is a good pack.Great bag. Nice thin profile, just enough pockets inside, and live the large back pocket.Great all around backpack!I like this bag but I don’t quite love it, and I think I know why. I’ve recently tested and reviewed several Thule backpacks and hydration packs, and Thule is known for producing bags that will take a lot of punishment yet remain lightweight, and the Osprey doesn’t *quite* match up.The Osprey is tough, sure. It’s built using thick, dense material that feels as if it could withstand a nuclear blast. The stitching is so secure and strong I’m guessing it could take my full weight without a single stitch bursting. The rippled, memory-foam style back protection feels like it would offer serious protection if I tumbled off my bike and landed flat on my back. All of this makes the Osprey Transporter *tough*, but it also makes it feel a little *bulky* when compared to the Thule packs I’ve been testing.Just to clarify, bulky doesn’t mean big. This bag is actually just the right size for a daypack or work bag. There’s enough room inside for a large laptop and tablet, a water bottle, your lunch, a change of clothes and various gadgets, but it closely hugs your back as you wear it, making it pretty damned comfortable. If Osprey had used materials that felt just a little thinner and more flexible for the body of the bag this would be an easy 5 star rating, but I think a high 4 is deserved here. This was the first time I tried Osprey and I am very happy. Very well design and high quality material used.I've used it mostly on the days I had to go to work (most of the time these days I work from home, so this is more like 4-5 days of use during the past 4-5 weeks). The fabric used seems very durable and it's a good and relatively thick nylon fabric. Because the fabric is TPU coated the backpack is water-resistant and should be very reliable in extreme weathers. We don't have rain in San Diego these days so I can't comment on water resistance really but seems to be ok.The most important feature that actually works imo is the mesh back panel with the ridged foam that helps really good with the airflow and keeps your back cool. The access to the main compartment inside is done using a zipper panel on the outside which is a little different from most other backpacks but its totally fine and efficient.Inside, there's a padded laptop sleeve, another pocket for documents and two mesh sleeves and a specific pocket for water bottles which is new in a backpack for me.The pad on the straps is not that thick but the backpack is not that big and it can't get super heavy so the pads are good enough. It does have a hipbelt too. It's not that thick but it provides an extra connection and makes the backpack stay more stable on your back. There's also a blinker light attachment and key clop as additional features which are nice and useful.Overall, a very well designed backpack with nice and cool feature made with high quality water resistant material that is great for everyday use. Size is a bit small to be used as a carry on, unless used as a 2nd item carry on getting on a plane) Strongly recommend, if you're looking something that can handle rain or other extreme weather.Good quality, thick fabric and well stitch work.Very good for daily use for my laptop, not loosing quality and holding everything tight, and comfortable with fast walking even running moments.Detailed inside is useful, zipper is thick and working well.Water resistant fabric does well job.Osprey does good job. Im comfortable its keeping my laptop safe in it. Not gives pain when im carrying. You usually equate Osprey with really good stuff, and this backpack was a huge disappointment. Got it for my man to use when riding his motorcycle. The materials felt really cheap and not rugged at all. Not enough pockets. I am not sure how well this would hold up with extended usage. He wasn't either and didn't want to chance it.Definitely not a fan.Great everyday carry bag, just the right size without being bulky. Very comfortable to carry.Material is quite rugged but overall weight is quite light.
