The denim holds up well and so far for the 1st week, hasn't lost its color unlike the reviews for the faux leather loungefly backpacks I have read. Straps are holding up well, easy to clean (just wipe with damp cloth). Once I got lip gloss on it, I wiped with my finger and it came right off. So I expect with good care I will keep the straps white and clean. I love the inside lining that says Bonjour Marie! The zippers also say Marie on them. The backpack came with tissue and cardboard covering the kitty's pink tie collar and came in perfect condition. The little details matter and I love this backpack! There are 3 different designs for the Aristocat Marie backpacks (1 is all white faux leather with pink roses, that one I was going to get, but people have complained the faux leather falls apart easily; the other is the shape of a cat but too childish looking for me, and then there's this denim design, which is my favorite one). I think this one is the most unique without being too childish. The denim holds its shape very well too. I have cats and haven't had a problem with cat hair getting on the backpack (I'm careful but unlike regular cotton clothes the denim doesn't attract cat hair like all my other clothes do). As a pet owner it's a daily battle! Overall it's easy cleaning, holds its shape and has been quite durable. Will post update if anything starts to fade or break but so far so good.
