My husband and I took a 3 weeks vacation and stayed in glacier national park and hiked as much as we could. Long hikes and small ones with our 5 month almost 6 month old. She LOVED it and it was very comfortable for us. A little heavy for me to carry her so my husband had her almost the entire time but he loves it. There’s a lot of support and the built in sun cover was awesome. Baby was able to fall asleep comfortably and the storage on the inside is perfect!!! Was able to store bottles and food for us three and more! Don’t even look at the price just buy it. Worth every penny. This pack is massive!!! But looking at all the other packs on the trail, it wasn’t much different in size then other brands. I am 5’4” 125lbs and was able to carry my baby comfortably for several days wearing him in this. Upwards of 7mile hikes over rocks, sand, etc and he was comfortable the entire time. He would take naps in the pack - especially morning naps. Thin blanket rolled up in front helped him get extra cozy but he is only 8 months old so on the smaller side of the minimum height and weight requirements. Huge bonus was that this pack has a built in sun shade - so necessary! I also like that the sides have the mesh shade so 1) he can’t stick his head out of the side and maybe get whacked by a tree limb and 2) so he doesn’t stick his head out the side and get sunburned- defeating the purpose of the sun shade in the first place. 3) shades even more sun when hiking in morning or evening and sun is coming in from an angle. My husband is 6’2” and was also very comfortable wearing this pack. A feature we really liked is being able to adjust the pack for our different heights in a few seconds with the flip of a clip. Made switching him to the other parent mid hike very efficient.Lots of storage space in the pocket in the bottom. We didn’t need to bring any other bag with us bc there was so much room for all of our babies items plus water bottles and snacks for us. We didn’t have a water bladder this last trip but the zippered pouch directly in the back looks big enough to hold one. I also really like the zippered pockets on the hips - we stored snacks for our son to hand off quickly while hiking. The kick stand does need to be open to use the bottom pouch. For a more streamline look you can fold the kickstand in and not use that part as storage.Overall, completely worth the price!I have a 10 month old and she loves this thing. Everytime I bring it out, she gets so excited and tries to get inside. We hiked over 14 miles of variable terrain in the month of October and it was a breeze. It's comfortable for us both and pretty lightweight. I haven't had an issue with storage, there seems to be plenty, although, we've only done day hikes so far. The shade cover is amazing. My baby is fully shaded and it keeps her tucked in when she falls a sleep, which is a lot. I also purchased the rain cover, being in the PNW, that was necessary since we hike rain or shine. It fully encloses the baby and is pretty sweet. The pack is super adjustable which is awesome. It takes a second getting used to putting it on by yourself but it's totally doable. I honestly love this thing. I felt a little bit of buyers remorse when first purchasing it but I do not regret it. It was definitely worth the money for us. I highly recommend it if you're interested in investing on something you plan to use a lot.Works good but it puts a distance between you and your babes. It comes with a crap mirror so you can see your baby. But for now I still have been using a front carrier so I can hold my baby and can hold her feet and hands and kiss the top of her head. Until she gets to big I will keep on using the front carrierI did my due diligence on researching carriers before buying one. I wanted a nicer one that would last over the years and be solid for good long hikes. I debated the most between Dueter Kid Comfort Pro and Osprey Poco Plus. Here were the reasons for my decision:1. A little extra sturdiness. -- On the sides of the pack there is a bar in Poco Plus the the Dueter does not have. This makes the pack feel a little more solid, and less flimsy. It makes it a little easier to slide the pack on and off, which helps the safety of my child in the pack.2. More storage. -- I will admit this was initially just based off of pictures, but after receiving that pack I feel sound in the assumption. The way the storage compartment is designed on the Poco Plus is perfect. We can bring so much stuff! The utilization of space was well thought out.Other awesome things to note.- The sunshade on the pack is so easy to take out and put back in.- This pack has foot holders for the child, which helps so their feet don't fall asleep.- and well you look cool using it :)I debated on whether I should just buy a cheaper off brand pack, but I am so glad I got one with all the bells and whistles. It is so comfortable and well worth the money! We love this back pack. Very easy to adjust for size of baby/toddler.My husband and grandbaby love using it.So easy to adjust for size and needs. Takes the weight off the shoulders and onto the hips, just what a good back pack should do. We are not taking long hikes with it, but great for doing out door tasks because you are hands free. Works great using the four wheeler going out into the woods, going down our hunting trails and pulling camera chips. When working in the barn, I adjust the seat a little higher so baby can see over my husbands shoulder better, then with a quick and easy adjustment I lower the seat when walking/moving...baby is now 13 months and loves it. As soon as we pull it out he knows he is going with Gramps to see and experience great things.
