I see other posts here talking about how the insert is worthless or gimickee. I totally disagree. Those people may not have as many tools as I do so they may not need the extra pocket space. Even with the insert in place, packed with tools, my drill gun still has room at the bottom of the pack. I really like this pack and totally recommend it.This bag is TOUGH! I've had it for a week or so now and it has made my work life so much simpler since it can hold all the tools I use regularly. It is heavy as others have stated (12.5 lbs empty), but it is sturdy and durable as hell. I used to drag around a rigid rolling box and that was clunky and a pain in the ass getting it in and our of my truck, but with this I just toss it on my back and go with 2 free hands to carry anything else I may need. It's a bit pricey but it so far seems well worth the price. And the zipper clasps that can be locked with a padlock make it feel more secure if I have to leave it somewhere for a minute. Granted a determined enough person wouldn't be stopped by a lock on the zippers but it is still nice to have.I'll update this review if the bag takes a dump anytime soon but I have faith that this bag will last a good while. My husband loves his backpack. Very durable and holds a lot more tools than he thought. Great for when he goes up ladders and no longer has to make multiple trips to work van.Bought this for my husband. If this backpack had wheels it would be like a rolling carryon luggage. It was so much bigger than expected but he says it’s definitely durable and spacious to carry all that you need in one trip!Nothing to dislikeIt fits everything you need and you still have room and pockets available for other things , it’s really hard to fill this bag to be 100% capacity. It gets heavy fast tho but if you need to have everything with you and organized this is the bag for you. This is my 5th backpack for my tools and this will be my last. If this ever broke somehow I’d buy another.Sturdy bag, couple things though. The bag itself is well-made, it’s sturdy it’s nice looking, and the pockets are plentiful inside. The problem is as an HVAC tech putting instruments and drills on the bag and not having it so lopsided or stuffed that it’s not worth carrying around. Most of the front pockets are pretty worthless because they are paper thin. And the one larger box pocket makes the top top-heavy when it’s open. Those are some pretty decent complaints in my book as a tech who is in the bag tons of times. Not pleased that it's Made in China. What are you doing Klein?!Otherwise it seems great - although a belt strap to take some of the weight off your shoulders might be helpful - perhaps not so practical on-site though, idk.I joked to my eldest (10) that she could use it as her bags keep breaking from weight of books - she found it heavy enough empty (not a chance anyone else is getting to use it anyway!)Will be interesting to see how heavy it is with tools - and whether or not it actually copes. I'm not a tradesman, just an enthusiastic DIYer - but I'm finding boxes very limiting - have several Milwaukee packout which I love, but I wanted something I could get all my regularly used tools and power tools in. The Milwaukee rucksack got differing reviews, hoping this pack justifies the higher price. As a DIYer I will be very disappointed if I don't get several years at the very least out of this. I appreciate that any bag used on-site is unlikely to last long term, but I won't be subjecting it to constant use in difficult environments - so if it doesn't last I will certainly come back here and amend my review. This is the second Klien tool bag I have bought (different styles, for different kit). The bag is top of it's class. The materials are stronger, the padding is better, and the layout is well thought-out! You cannot go wrong!Have been looking for a quality, hard wearing, professional looking pice of tool luggage for some time, I tried many cheaper options, no brands named, but the yellow and black one broke within a few months, the wheels were rubbish! This piece of kit is perfect and will last ages. Shame it has to be shipped from the US.Great tool back pack but it’s heavy… this one looks and feels built to last.Has some great features like the removable caddy for the quick jobs. Comfy to wear even when fully loadedBrilliant bag perfect for work
