This bag is beautiful and the seller shipped it next day, unfortunately I didn't keep the bag because it's too small. But what a beautiful backpack. If you are thinking about it, just buy it, you won't regret it. ❤️ two thumbs-upI tried on a ton of packs for my Mt. Rainier climb and finally settled on this. It has plenty of storage, thoughtfully placed side water bottle pockets, and straps/loops for carrying an ice axe and trekking poles. It's fairly light and the removable brain is nice for dropping some weight from the pack. It's very adjustable and the mesh back panel helps to keep your back cool. I carried about 40 lbs. for three days uphill and down, and aside from regular climbing soreness I didn't experience any additional pain from the pack. I highly suggest looking up how to measure for a pack and checking out sizing on the Osprey site for the best fit - sizing does not correlate to clothing sizes. My measurement fell right between an X-small and Small, and after trying on both I found the Small to be a better fit. I have only good things to say about this pack, especially for alpine expeditions.I love the size and look of the backpack. It has so many pockets for storage and organization. But it feels really awkward. I think I need to go to REI or something to get someone to help me try out sizes. I have never had a backpack like this but it feels awkward. Don’t try to figure out your size by reading reviews and questions like meI really wanted to love this pack but after receiving it and adjusting it with and without weight for literally hours, I just can't. It is extremely stiff. The hip belt is soooooo tight and digs into me in such a painful way. The shoulder strap tightening mechanism and trekking pole holders tub my inner upper arms. I had red areas there after just sporting it about the house. Can't imagine how much worse it would be with more arm movement and trekking poles in use. I can see some tearful treks in my future with this midevil torture device. I will be returning it. It makes me sad...I really, really wanted to love this pack. However, the material on the shoulder straps is sturdy yet soft unlike the shoulder straps on the Gregory Maven which are made of very itchy and abrasive matrrial but the Maven's hip belt is the most comfortable I have tried so far. Maybe it is made for thin figures. I'm 188 pounds, 5'4". I wear size 14-16 or lg-xlg bottoms and lg-xlg tops but my torso length is about 16.5". So, small torso size pack. The belt pockets are very far back on the belt and cannot be zipped or unziped without a round of gymnastics to reach them. Maybe my backside is...maybe I am just too dang big (fat) for this pack. This review is just based on comfort and not function as I will never be able to tolerate usinging it to test its actual functionality because it is about as comfortable as one might imagine a bear trap, clamped at the hips, would be. Maybe it would be amazing if I lost 65 pounds. I guess the search continues.Bought this as a gift and she loves it! I have the same pack and what a difference over the first (starter pack) I bought to see if I would even like hiking first.Storage room is great. Zippers are all very durable on this pack. Color is as pictured. Front waist zipper pockets just wish they were more usable but very awkward to reach into still. Used to pack into a DNR cabin for a 3 night stay a few times where we always over pack way to much since we are stationary and seem to carry a little extra snacks and drinks into ? and was very comfortable and plenty of room for food clothes water and all needed items.Weight of the pack rides very comfortable along my waist line without any pressure points. the extra storage pocket on top is great for the quick items u need as your hiking. Plenty of areas to attach items to on outside of pack. Pole holders are great for quick access when needed.Very happy with this purchase. Looking forward to much more hiking in the future now that she has a more comfortable reliable pack. Would be nice to have a side pocket for tent poles would be my only change for quick acess when setting up.Bought for my daughter who will be going to Philmont and hiking 40 miles with tent, water, and food.Great bag. Be sure it fits. :)This is my second Osprey backpack, this one didn’t disappoint either. Absolutely love it!Osprey hands down makes the best backpacking packs ever! ? My Aura AG 65 has been on a bunch of trips with me already and I can’t see leaving it behind. I do have to say most of my trips don’t exceed more than 7 days so I’m not quite sure what it would be like to wear this for 2 weeks straight. The mesh-like backing is great and keeps your back cool and comfortable. The backpack has plenty of room, I personally took off the bag that is on top to keep the bag height lower and it still has more then enough room for all my gear. The lifetime guarantee is also a major bonus??Overall, I would definitely recommend this pack to all my fellow backpackers!Since I've recently lightened much of my gear, this is now the ideal size for long-distance hikes. The anti-gravity suspension is adjustable to your torso length, the straps are all well padded, and it is the most comfortable pack I have ever worn.I especially like the hip belt pockets which allow you to keep your phone, some snacks, and other things to which you might need quick access. All that and it comes in rich colors. We are camping the sw coastal path this summer and I needed a larger backpack. We have hiked before but only 4/5 days. I am 5ft 6 and heavy!! I measured my back and got 15/16 inches so ordered a ws small. Spot on!! The hip belts and back ventilation make it sooo comfortable!! It literally hugs you. Full and ready to go it's still super comfortable and light - packed and repackaged to get correct weight distribution and believe even in a hot summer the back mesh will help prevent sweaty back!! Love and highly recommend aura ag 65l *****I’ve used this pack on several long hikes and it’s been very comfortable. The woman’s small size fits my frame well. I’m 5ft 6.5 and a size 10.I love this backpack. Its so comfortable and fits perfectly. It has so many features and I like the fact I can remove the top "brain " to reduce weight if space is not needed. I have only one slight criticism and that is that the belt pockets are not so easy to zip shut when wearing the pack. I find they stick and I have to twist awkwardly to do up. I'm hoping a spray of WD40 may rectify this as this feature is very useful especially o long hikes.Excellent product , light and strong, also very good customer service.
