What a beautifully crafted backpack purse made of high quality leather! It can actually be worn three ways by simply rearranging the straps: 1) wear as a backpack purse as sold; 2) convert to a shoulder bag by simply removing the straps and then reattaching them to the upper rings on each side of the bag: and 3), convert to a cross-body bag by fulling extending one strap and reattaching it to each of the upper rings on the sides of the bag. Consequently, this is an excellent bag to use for travel due to backpack restrictions often enforce when visiting museums in Europe (simply convert it to a shoulder bag) .....yet, when carting luggage, using your camera, or perhaps managing your young children, your hands can be free by wearing the bag as a backpack. And it is made in Tuscany, Italy! Love it!Well made, great quality bag. I got the black bag with gold accent and zippers, they work like butter. The liner is dark blue. Side pockets are small, only fits a pen, or a chapstick - that's the only downside. Arrived quickly, from Italy.I didn't take it out of the plastic so I can't say what the overall purse/pack is like. I'm writing this because the "cognac" one that I got is just regular, plain brown. I was looking for something of the color of this photo but it's not the color of this phone. I'm returning it and ordering the taupe one. I'll report on it after I get it and open it up.Update: I ordered the taupe one and its color was just blah. So I opened the brown one and it actually does look almost like the photograph. I decided to keep it because it's a wonderful pack/purse. Everything from my purse fits nicely, the leather is supple and it is very well made. If I had it to do over again I would definitely buy this purse.I'm not sure if there are words to describe the outstanding customer service & quality of workmanship in my new Tuscany Leather backpack. This bag came from Italy. It was sent on the 5th of the month and I received it 2 days later and the shipping was free. The quality and workmanship is above and beyond anything I expected. Living in the US and buying a bag of this quality would easily cost 2 1/2 times the price I paid. I had questions before I purchased the bag so emailed the company and I had a response the next morning. The leather is amazing!!! Thank you Tuscany Leather for your outstanding workmanship and wonderful customer service. I have already told all my friends about you!!! My only issue is the weight - it has small, secure, easy to reach, outside pockets that I can’t resist from over stuffing ?.Edit: Requested return label. Sent a note to the seller regarding my concerns. VERY prompt response and postage for return to be covered. So bumped to 3 stars; think description could be corrected.Original review: The hooks on both ends of the straps used to make this a backpack are the kind that swivel which makes it very difficult to get the straps on and laying the correct way. Also, on one side, the metal piece used to tighten the straps is upside down, and it matters because that part is on the front of your body and shows.Leather is nice at least.Disappointed that I have to pay for return shipping. Won't buy from this company again.I just received this bag and was very disappointed. While the craftsmanship is fine, the leather is a bit stiff and the bag is smaller than you would expect. But the most disappointing thing is the size of the pockets. The only useful outside pocket is the back pocket and which is only about 6” deep and 7” wide, so could work for a cell phone. The front pocket can hold one of the straps but not much else would fit. The some pockets with the zippers are pretty much useless-wold barely hold a couple keys. Main compartment will hold an iPad but still not much room for much else, let alone organization of items. For the price, very disappointing.Spent a few weeks in Europe and it was the perfect daily bag, not to heavy and held everything I needed during the dayI'm staring to fall in love with the brand ‘Tuscany TL Leather’ This bag is so lovely however due to not paying attention to the size information I though it would be on the small size. Turns out this is a big bag which would be great for traveling or everyday use. UPDATE:....This bag just get better and better with time and it becomes softer too It’s simply the best backpack EVER!Looks and feels good. Like the zip pocket on the back for valuables and tiny side pocket for keys. There is also a “hidden” front pocket for a phone. Not only is it a back back but the straps can also convert to a shoulder bag. A very good buy.Top quality bag, the wife loves it.The bag is well made and very well designed, but I was disappointed by the appearance - the tan colour is lighter and cheaper-looking than the pictures suggest, and the leather is stippled rather than smooth.Ottimo zaino, non un difetto, con piccole cerniere nei due laterali, ma comode per caramelle, o rossetto, una cerniera dietro abbastanza capiente per cellulare, metto quasi tutto all'interno, ma poco è lo spazio per il tutto, fosse stato un poco più grande era sicuramente il top!
