A large rucksack is ideal for anything from an extended hike (which will include camping) to backpacking around the world. These rucksacks are designed to be able to hold a substantial amount of kit and will have plenty of pockets for storage. A 65 Litre rucksack, is well suited for trekking and is a popular choice for those taking part in expedition award schemes. If your trip will be for one week or more, a 70 or 80 litre backpack is highly recommended. Read more Choosing The Best Rucksack For You One of the main factors to consider when choosing the best backpack or rucksack for you is how big it needs to be. This will depend on what you plan to use if for (eg. everyday bag or a week-long trip) and how much you need to take (the bare essentials or kit for an overnight stay). Backpack Litre Capacities People often ask how big is a 65 litre rucksack? Essentially, you’ll be able to fit 65 litres of gear in a 65 litre backpack. This however might not mean a great deal when you are trying to decide if a rucksack is big or small enough for your needs. It’s often easier to look at the actual measurements (perhaps even compare to a bag you already own), to get an idea of how big the rucksack is. Read more The Fit It’s important that your rucksack fits correctly so you can carry it in comfort. This will depend on your build and back length (not your overall height). Most rucksacks will come with adjustable back & straps to ensure your backpack fits securely and comfortably. If the backpack sits too low, even when adjusted, it is too big for you. Read more

Great compartments, color, durable. Used for backpacking around Europe. It was too big to use as a carry on on budget flight but I got away with using it as one on US airwaysReally spacious , multiple pocketsNo issues at all after a few hiking trips in NH.Excelente producto. Vendedor recomendable.I bought 2 of these Mountain Warehouse Carrion 65L Rucksacks after a request for two homeless gentlemen that needed help. When they arrived, I could see that they are well made, with a waterproof cover and very strong. There are numerous pockets that are easy to access and I filled them with lots of treats and basic items as well. The two gentlemen were absolutely delighted with them.Bought for Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Was light, comfortable and had plenty of room for all the kit. Liked the extra raincover and all the straps/compartments. Decent value too.Used on a two day trip to Loch Nagar, 5 Munro's in April. Worked really well, shoulder straps slipped a few times, so tied a knot in the strap, worked. Good size for two or three days, The only negative comment is the two pockets on the back are pretty useless. Would of been better with a large stretch pocket as per the sides. One my first flight of using this bag, the strap broke between the back pack and shoulder strap. On my second flight the other strap broke! Was very upset as I was travelling for 9 months and this was my main bag and it was completely unusable. The side zip broke aswell so I had to safety pin it shut. Mountain warehouse and amazon were unable to help with anything and wouldn’t send me a new bag. Very disappointed with the bag and the service!!!!The material is of excellent quality and the backpack has many compartments. I am 1.64m tall, so probably a little too small for thispack because the back of my head touches the top of the pack. Haven't had a chance to go on a tour with it. The raincover is a great detail.
